  Randy Montgomery was a standout with the football and track and field programs at Weber State. Montgomery, a Seattle, Washington, product, was a four-time Big Sky Conference champion through the years, winning the triple jump in 1969, and the triple jump, 200 meters and 400 meters in 1970.

  Montgomery earned All-Big Sky Conference honors 11 times during his track and field career, and holds the Weber State record for most points scored in a Big Sky conference meet with 86 points.

  During his career, Montgomery set WSU records in the 100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters and long jump. He was a qualifier for the 1970 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

  The 5-foot-11, 180-pound Montgomery also was a two-year letterman for the Wildcats football program under Coach Sark Arslanian. After leaving WSU, Montgomery signed a free-agent contract with the Denver Broncos. He also played for the Chicago Bears.
