As part of the performance team, we are here to support athletes with nutrition education to maximize their successes in sport, academic participation, and overall wellness.
Appropriate food choices and meal timing are a significant factor in athletic performance and energy levels, injury recovery and prevention, cognition and mood, and a students’ ability to cope with stress. Healthy eating patterns for life are encouraged by introducing new nutrition habits and skills.

"nutrition" tab

Teams receive a performance nutrition handbook that educates them on basic sports nutrition, hydration, recovery, fueling during injuries, travel nutrition, and more.
Athletes get FREE access to our registered dietitian for their entire student athlete career. Athletes can get one-on-one nutrition counseling and education on nutrient needs, performance nutrition, meal planning and cooking, supplements, and body composition changes. Having a dietitian allows us to address more in-depth topics including food-related medical conditions, disordered eating, or offering personalized dietary advice.
