'Cats Unable to Lasso Broncos

BOISE, Idaho -- Boise State used a 10-2 game-opening run to grab an early lead, and never trailed as the Broncos downed Weber State 66-58 at Taco Bell Arena on Sunday afternoon.
The Wildcats got as close as two points with 11 minutes left in the first half, but trailed 27-15 at the break and were unable to get any closer than six points over the final 20 minutes.
Caitlin Anderson led the Wildcats in scoring for the second-straight game, putting in 12 points to go along with three rebounds and two assists. Sarah Conner hit a pair of three-point shots on her way to 10 points, and added four rebounds.
The Wildcats fell to an even 1-1 on the early season, while Boise State improved to a perfect 2-0.
Weber State will be home to host Southern Utah on Thursday, Nov. 19 at Noon. The game will be the Wildcats' annual Field Trip day in which they will welcome many local elementary and junior high schools to promote physical education.
