BOULDER, Colo. - Chucky Jeffery scored 17 points and pulled down seven rebounds on Saturday afternoon to lead Colorado to a 77-59 victory over the Weber State University women's basketball team at Coors Events Center.
Junior guard Megan Patterson led the Wildcats with 15 points and seven rebounds, while senior guard Caela Mohre added 13 points for Weber State (2-10).
In addition to Jeffery, Colorado had three other players land in double-figures scoring as the Buffaloes improved to 9-0 overall this season.
Weber State took an early four-point lead, but Colorado's inside game proved to be too much for the Wildcats to handle. The Buffaloes held a 52-12 advantage in points in the paint and outrebounded WSU 48-38.
Weber State will return home to wrap up its non-conference schedule on Wednesday, Dec. 21, taking on in-state rival Utah Valley for the second time this season. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. at the Dee Events Center.
