Wildcat soccer announces winter training camps

OGDEN – The Weber State University women's soccer team has announced two upcoming elite winter camps.
Beginning on Thursday, Dec. 10, and lasting for six Thursday nights, the Wildcats will host an Elite ID Camp at the Marquardt Fieldhouse. The camp is open to any and all girls at the 8th-12th grade level, and is limited to the first 24 to register.
The ID camp, taught by WSU assistant Mike Manning, will cover advanced topics such as: dribbling, crosses, possession with a purpose, attacking in the final third, and finishing with precision.

Beginning on Wednesday, Dec. 9, and lasting for six weeks, the Wildcats will host an Elite Goalkeeping Camp at the Marquardt Fieldhouse. The camp is open to any and all 8th-12th grade goalkeepers (boys or girls), and is limited to the first 14 who register.
Taught by Weber State women's soccer goalkeeper coach Meagan Thunell, the camp will cover advanced goalkeeping topics such as: positioning, crosses, breakaways, mobility, diving, distribution, and set pieces.

Weber State women's soccer camps are designed to provide players and teams with a competitive and educational experience. Our goal is to teach the game by building a solid foundation for players at all levels. Campers will be run through Division I drills designed to develop skills, vision and competency. All drills are specifically geared to prepare each camper for competition at the highest level.
Those attending Weber State Women's Soccer Camp will work with our experienced coaching staff. Sessions will be a balance of instruction, skills and game experience. Athletes will learn the latest methods in training & technique.
All of our camps are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, and/or grade level).
