Weber State football schedules future games with Utah

OGDEN - Weber State football will open the 2018 season in Salt Lake City against the University of Utah. But that won't be the only upcoming game between the two schools.Â
The Wildcats and Utes will kickoff the 2018 season on Aug. 30.Â
The two schools have also announced scheduled games to play in 2021 and 2023. The two teams will meet in the season openers in both years at Rice-Eccles Stadium, with games scheduled for Sept. 2, 2021, and Aug. 31, 2023.
Weber State and Utah have met four times previously with the Utes winning all four games. The last game played was in 2013.Â
The Wildcats have played a team from the Pac-12 Conference in four of the last five years.Â
Weber State also has FBS games scheduled at San Diego State and Nevada in 2019 and at Wyoming in 2020.Â
WSU previously announced an FCS home-and-home series with Northern Iowa in 2019 and 2020.Â
