Playoff bound: Wildcats host North Dakota in first round playoff game Saturday

Weber State and North Dakota will play Saturday at 2 p.m. at Stewart Stadium in the FCS Playoffs first round.
OGDEN - It's playoff time for Weber State football. For the sixth time in the last seven years, Weber State is headed to the postseason.Â
The Wildcats will host the North Dakota Fighting Hawks in the first round of the FCS Playoffs on Saturday, November 26 at 2 p.m. at Stewart Stadium.Â
Weber State finished the regular season at 9-2, winning at least nine games for just the sixth time in school history and the fourth time under head coach Jay Hill.Â
The 2022 season included a 35-7 win over FBS Utah State, Weber State's first FBS win in 29 years.Â
This is Weber State's 10th all-time appearance in the playoffs and the sixth in the last seven years under coach Hill.
North Dakota, a former member of the Big Sky Conference, was 7-4 in the regular season this year and 5-3 in the Missouri Valley Conference.Â
The win over Saturday's game will face fourth-seeded Montana State on Saturday, December 3 in Bozeman, Montana.Â
Tickets for Saturday's game will go on sale at 5 p.m. on Monday, November 21 at WeberStateSports.com.Â
Weber State students will get in free to the game with a Wildcard and WSU faculty and staff can receive two free tickets.Â
The Fan Fest will begin at 12 p.m. on Saturday in the lot north of the stadium.Â
