Playoff rematch Saturday in Bozeman

Weber State and Montana State will meet again in Bozeman Saturday at 1 p.m. in the second round of the FCS Playoffs.
It's a Playoff rematch between two long-time rivals. After a home win to open the 2022 FCS Playoffs, the Weber State football team will head to Montana State for a rematch with the Bobcats in the second round.Â
The Wildcats and Bobcats will kickoff Saturday at 1 p.m. in Bozeman, Montana. The game will be streamed live on ESPN+ and broadcast on 103.1 FM "The Wave".Â
Weber State improved to 10-2 on the season with a 38-31 win over North Dakota on Saturday in the first round of the playoffs on a snowy day at Stewart Stadium. The Wildcats rushed for 330 yards and had four rushing touchdowns in the win.Â
Montana State ranked second in the nation at the time, handed Weber State its first loss of the season with a 43-38 win in Bozeman on October 22. The Wildcats had a punt return and kickoff return touchdown but allowed four MSU safeties.Â
The Bobcats are 10-1 overall and won the Big Sky title with an 8-0 conference record. This is the first-ever meeting between the two schools in the playoffs. Weber State is competing in the FCS Playoffs for the sixth time in the last seven years.Â
This season marks the sixth time in WSU history the Wildcats have reached 10 wins in a season and four of the 10-win seasons have come since 2017 under head coach Jay Hill.Â
