Wildcat soccer signs six new athletes for signing day

Weber State soccer has announced the 2024 signing class on Wednesday, November 8th and are welcoming six new Wildcats to the squad.Â
Among the recruiting class, there are five athletes coming from Utah and one from Washington.Â
Reese Thurston, a 5'8 center back from Smithfield, UT, played for Sky View High School under Stacee Sparrow. During their time as Bobcat, Thurston lettered all four years in soccer as well as golf in 2021.Â
Thurston is the child of Mark and Tenley Thurston and is the third of five children.Â
Isabella Sackett reigns from Farmington Utah and is a 5'5 center back who played under Sarah Beecher at Farmington High School. During their time as a Phoenix, Sackett lettered all three years in soccer and received All-State honorable mention accolades.Â
Sackett is the child of Chad and Aubrey Sackett and has three siblings.Â
A local to Weber County, Hannah Kallias is a 5'7 defender from Weber High School. During their time as a Warrior they lettered in soccer. Kallias has two siblings and their parents are Kate and Justin Kallias.Â
Abby Dombrow, the lone signee not from Utah, reigns from Brush Prairie, Washington. The 5'5 midfielder played at Hockinson High School under George Moya.
Between their time in high school and club play Dombrow played on two championship teams, received first team accolades for both high school and club, MVP and offensive MVP.Â
Dombrow has three siblings and is the child of Sherry and Todd Dombrow.Â
Jenna Nichols, a 5'4 midfielder from Salt Lake City, played for Skyline High School under Yamil Castillo. During their time as an Eagle, Nichols received honorable mention accolades in 2021, second team honors in 2022 and lettered in soccer.Â
Nichols is the middle child of three and is the child of Kelsey and Tom Nichols.Â
The final signee of the 2024 class is Amanda Caswell. Caswell is from Lehi, UT and played at Skyridge High School under Toby Peterson. During their time as a Falcon, Caswell lettered all four years of high school and finished 2nd in state.

Caswell is fourth of seven children and is the child of Stefanie and Clay Caswell.
