The Weber State softball team has been recognized for its success in the classroom.
The Wildcat softball team has been named the Big Sky Team Academic Champions after posting the best GPA of all the conference softball teams for the 2023-24 academic calendar year.
The Team Academic Champion is an award from the conference, highlighting the top team academically in each sport the league sponsors.
The team boasted a combined GPA of 3.66Â for the academic year and were coached under Mary Kay Amicone.
