Weber State announces 2025 football schedule

The Wildcats have added Butler as a home game on September 20. Season begins on August 30 at James Madison.
OGDEN - Weber State has announced its final non-conference game for the 2025 football season.Â
The Wildcats will host the Butler Bulldogs on Saturday, September 20 at Stewart Stadium in Ogden.Â
This will be the first ever meeting between Weber State and Butler, an FCS school in Indianapolis, Indiana, that plays in the Pioneer League. Â
The announcement of this game completes Weber State's 2025 football schedule. The Wildcats will have the first three games on the road playing at James Madison on August 30, Arizona on September 6, and McNeese on September 13.
The game with Butler will be the home opener and the final non-conference game of the season.Â
In Big Sky play, the Wildcats will open up on September 27 at UC Davis. After a bye week, the annual Homecoming game will be on October 11 against Sacramento State, followed by a road game at Portland State.Â
Weber State will have three of the final five games at home hosting Eastern Washington on October 25, and Montana on November 1. They then play at Montana State and Idaho State, before the final game of the season on November 22 at home against Northern Arizona.Â
Head coach Mickey Mental will return for his third season as head coach. The Wildcats are scheduled to open spring practice on March 11 with the annual spring game scheduled for April 12.Â
