Ogden, UT - Weber State soccer has signed 5 new players to join the Wildcats as a part of the 2026 signing class.

"We are excited to welcome our 2026 singing class." Head Coach Kyle Christensen said, "It includes great talent both locally and out of state. We look forward to this group helping this program continue to reach new heights."

Of the 5 new players, 3 hail from the state of Utah.

Isabelle Dahl signed her letter of intent with the Wildcats on Wednesday. The midfielder from Lehi, Utah, was named both Rookie of the Year and Offensive MVP in her career at Lehi High School.

"Izzy is a talented, athletic player with an ability to cover a lot of ground and is productive on both sides of the ball." Christensen said, "Izzie is a strong presence in the midfield and can dictate the tempo of the game."

AJ Beard also signed with the Wildcats on Wednesday. The midfielder, also from Lehi, Utah, was named All-City her junior year and received honorable mention her sophomore year. She also earned the Midfield MVP award in her time at Skyridge High School.

"AJ is a crafty, technical player with an exceptional ability to read the game and create in tight spaces." Christensen said, "AJ brings both skill and intelligence to the field and will be a great addition to the midfield."

The final Utah native to sign with the Wildcats is Amelia Smith from Layton, Utah. Smith was a 3-year varsity captain for the Lancers. She was the leading scorer during her junior and senior seasons and also claims the all-time school record for the 100 and 200 meters.

"Milly is an attacker with great strength and pace. She can take players on and create goal-scoring opportunities." Christensen said, "Milly has an ability to get behind back lines, which will help our attack produce more opportunities."

From Queen Creek, Arizona, Kajun (KJ) Skinner signed on with the Wildcats on Wednesday. Skinner was named to both the All-CUSD and All-Region first teams. The forward was also named All-Conference 1st team and named to the All-Academic team in her time at Casteel High School.

"Kajun is a forward with a great ability to score goals. Kajun has proven her ability to score against the top club teams in the country." Christensen said, "She can create on her own and also does well creating for her teammates."

The final Wildcat in the 2026 signing class is Hannah DaSilva from Folsom, California. The forward was named the Rookie Athlete of the Year for Vista del Lago High School and also spent two years with the Olympic Development Program in California.

"Hannah is a versatile player who can excel anywhere on the field." Christensen said, "She is two-footed and can create goal-scoring opportunities from the midfield or the front line. Her skill and vision will be a great addition to our attack."

The Wildcats are coming off one of the best seasons in program history, finishing with a 12-7-1 mark in Kyle Christensen's first season. The 'Cats will look to continue to build on the success of this season, moving into year two for Christensen.
