The Weber State legend is the only Wildcat ever named to the NFL Pro Bowl.

The legendary status of Rashid Shaheed keeps growing.

For the second time in his career, the former Weber State standout player has been named to the NFL Pro Bowl.

Shaheed, now with the Seattle Seahawks, has been named to the 2026 NFL Pro Bowl Games as a kick returner in the NFC.

He is the only player in the NFL this season with a kick return and a punt return touchdown.

The 2026 Pro Bowl Games will include a skills competition and a 7-on-7 flag football game scheduled for February 3 in San Francisco.

Shaheed is one of four players from an FCS school named to this year's Pro Bowl teams.

He is the only player in Weber State history to be named to the Pro Bowl. He was also named in 2023 with the New Orleans Saints.

He was traded from New Orleans to Seattle on Nov. 3, and entering the final two games of the regular season, has played in seven games for the Seahawks

He returned a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown in a Week 14 win over the Atlanta Falcons, helping him earn NFC Special Teams Player of the Week honors. He had a 58-yard punt return that helped spark a 16-point fourth quarter comeback in the Week 16 win over the Los Angeles Rams.

Entering the final two weeks of the season, Shaheed also has 57 catches for 677 yards and two touchdowns this season with the Saints and Seahawks.

He has played in 49 career games in four years in the NFL and has 2,233 receiving yards with 12 touchdowns. He also has three punt return touchdowns and one kickoff return touchdown.

Shaheed was a standout at Weber State from 2017-21 and was a four-time All-American, the only player in WSU history to earn All-America honors four times. Shaheed also earned first-team All-Big Sky honors four times and was a part of four Big Sky Championship teams.

He played in 53 career games at Weber State and ranks third in career all-purpose yards. He ended his career as the FCS all-time leader in kickoff return touchdowns with seven. He also had 2,178 career receiving yards, which is seventh in WSU history, and had 18 career touchdowns.

He was undrafted in the 2022 draft but signed as a free agent with the Saints.
