Wildcat Women’s Basketball welcomes Alli Winters as assistant coach

Weber State women's basketball and head coach Jenteal Jackson are excited to announce the hiring of Alli Winters as an assistant coach.
"I am excited to announce the addition of Alli Winters to our coaching staff," said Jackson. "She's a high character individual and a high IQ basketball coach. She aligns well with our team culture and will continue to push us to be better everyday on the court. I've known Alli for over a decade and I can't wait to share the sideline with her, again."
Winters joins Weber State after spending the past two seasons with BYU Women's Basketball as the Director of Video and Strategy. Prior to her time at BYU, Winters served as the Assistant Video Director at the University of Utah from 2015 to 2023.
She earned her bachelor's degree in exercise and sports science teaching from the University of Utah and her master's degree in sports and athletic administration from Gonzaga University.
Winters began her collegiate playing career at Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake, Washington, where she was named to the All-Conference First Team and All-Academic Team, while also serving as team captain and earning team MVP honors. She then transferred to Westminster College, where she was a two-time All-Academic Team selection, Co-Captain and led the nation in three-point shooting percentage at 52.5% during the 2013–14 season. While at Westminster College, she helped lead the Griffins to back-to-back Elite Eight appearances.
"I am super excited to join Jenteal and the staff," said Winters. "I love everything Jenteal stands for and how she has built this program, it's easy to get behind. There's a lot of success coming this team's way and I'm excited to get to work."
