A three-game winning streak and a tie for first place in the Big Sky Conference standings have put Weber State football back in the national rankings.

The Wildcats are ranked 22nd in the nation in this week's Stats Perform FCS Top 25 media poll.

Weber State is 5-3 overall and 4-1 in Big Sky play following Saturday's 27-20 win over then-No. 21 Idaho State. The Wildcats have won three straight games and are tied with Northern Arizona atop the Big Sky standings.

This marks the first time Weber State has been nationally ranked since October 2024.

The Wildcats will face defending FCS national champion Montana State this Saturday in Bozeman. The Bobcats are 6-1 overall and 3-1 in conference play and are ranked third in the nation this week.

Weber State's next three opponents are all nationally ranked.

Following Saturday's game at Montana State, the Wildcats will host No. 20 UC Davis on Oct. 31 before traveling to face No. 7 Northern Arizona on Nov. 14.
