OGDEN - Weber State women's basketball and head coach Jenteal Jackson are excited to announce the addition of Sidney Anderson to the Wildcat team. 

Sidney Anderson is a 5'9" guard from Tucson, Arizona. Anderson spent her freshman season at Grand Canyon University.

"We are so thrilled to add Sidney to our team! Sidney fits us exceptionally well on and off the court and we are excited for her impact. She's a prolific shooter and has other pieces to her game we are excited to tap into. We feel Sid fits our system and coaching style. We can't wait to get to work with her and look forward to all her growth and success ahead here at Weber State."

Prep: 
Four-letter winner at Salpointe Catholic in Tucson…Averaged 15.5 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 2.7 steals per game in her four-year career…Earned 4A All-State First Team honors senior year (2025)...Notched 4A Kino All-Region First Team in 2025 and Second Team in 2024…Named 5A Southern Region Offensive Player of the Year as a sophomore in 2023 and was awarded All-Conference Second Team and All-Region First Team that same season…Awarded 5A Sonoran Region All-Region First Team as a freshman (2022)...One of the best three-point shooters in all of Arizona 4A, tallying 71 makes to rank second in the division...Averaged 20.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 4.1 steals her sophomore season (2022-23)...Finished her high school career shooting 41% from the floor and 35% from three.
