Weber State Women’s Basketball announces Felicity Jones as assistant coach

OGDEN - The Weber State women's basketball program has announced the addition of Felicity Jones as an assistant coach.
Jones joins Weber State after serving four seasons as an assistant coach at the College of Southern Idaho (CSI), where she played a key role in developing student-athletes and contributed to the program's continued success. She is no stranger to CSI, having competed for the Golden Eagles from 2009 to 2011. During her playing career, Jones earned Region 18 Second Team honors while averaging 8 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists per game.
Following her time at CSI, Jones continued her collegiate career at the College of Idaho, where she completed her bachelor's degree in business. As a standout for the Coyotes, she was a two-time All-Cascade Conference selection, earned Cascade Conference Newcomer of the Year honors and helped lead her team to two national tournament appearances. Jones also garnered national recognition, earning Second Team All-American honors as a junior and Honorable Mention All-American accolades as a senior.
In addition to her collegiate coaching experience, Jones has built an impressive resume at the high school and club levels. She served as the associate head varsity coach at Northridge High School and worked as a head coach and co-director for the Kongo Club Team.
"I am thrilled to add Coach Flip to our coaching staff," said Head Coach Jenteal Jackson. "She is a tremendous addition to our team, Weber State and the community. I am confident she will add knowledge, high level energy and connection to our group every single day. She comes from a championship program and will bring elite experience to elevate our program."
A native connection to the CSI program remains strong for Jones and her family. She and her partner, Chakala Carthen, a former CSI student-athlete, have two children, Quentin and August.
