Caldwell ended his Wildcat career in 2011.  In three seasons he played in 32 career games and ranks as Weber State’s career leader in blocked kicks with five.  He had 92 career tackles with 11.5 tackles for loss and six career sacks.    

2011 (Junior)
Played in 11 games and started in seven games after returning to the Wildcats after electing to not play during the 2010 season...Earned Honorable Mention Big Sky All-Conference honors for the Wildcats...Set a new Weber State single-season record with four blocked kicks during the season...Blocked kicks against Northern Colorado, Idaho State, Montana and Northern Arizona...Ranked second on the team and 16th in the Big Sky in sacks with four on the year...Finished sixth on the Wildcat team with 37 tackles...Had 19 unassisted tackles and 18 assisted tackles...Recorded five tackles against Utah State and Eastern Washington...Was fourth on the Wildcat team in tackles for loss with seven on the season...Earned Big Sky Academic All-Conference honors in Accounting.  

2009 (Sophomore)
Played in all 12 and started in ten games for the Wildcats during the season...Recorded 39 total tackles on the season with 22 unassisted and 17 assisted...Had 2.5 tackles for loss and one sack, coming at Montana...Also had one blocked kick during the season.  

2008 (Freshman)
Appeared in nine games and started in two games for the Wildcats, as the ‘Cats won the Big Sky title...Recorded 16 total tackles on the season with eight assisted and eight unassisted...Had two tackles for loss...Also had one forced fumble and one fumble recovery, both coming at Hawaii...Returned home for an LDS Church mission and participated with the Wildcats in spring 2008 camp.  

Bear River High School
Graduated from Bear River High School in Tremonton, Utah...Was a member of two state Class 3A championship teams at Bear River High under Coach Chris Wise, the 2004 team posted a perfect 13-0 record...Named Second Team All-State by the Deseret News and Salt Lake Tribune.

Full name is Calvin Caldwell Taylor...Was born Dec. 1, 1986...Is majoring in Accounting at Weber State...Is married to former Weber State volleyball player Jocilyn Randall Taylor...Is the brother-in-law of Nick Webb...Originally signed in February 2005, part of Coach McBride’s first recruiting class at Weber State...Elected to serve an LDS Church mission to Mississippi before coming to Weber State.
