2007-08 (Senior)

Sara finished her four-year career as one of the top players in Weber State history...During her senior season she played in 27 of WSU’s 26 games, starting all but one game she played in...She ended her career starting 116 of the 117 games she played in...As a senior she was named to the Big Sky All-Conference First Team for the third straight year, becoming just the third Wildcat ever to be named to the First Team three times...She was one of three Tri-Captains for the Wildcats during the season...Finished third in the Big Sky in scoring at 16.6 points per game...Scored in double figures in 26 of 27 games on the year and finished her career scoring in double figures 73 times...Also scored 20 or more points eight times on the year...Had a career-high of 28 points in Weber State’s win over Eastern Washington on February 14...Finished the season eighth in the conference in rebounding at 7.3 per game and had five games of ten or more rebounds, including a career-high 14 against Montana...Finished the season with five double-doubles, giving her 11 for her career...Was second in the conference in free throw percentage at 88.8 percent, the third best single-season percentage in Weber State history...Was 127-143 from the lien on the year, the tenth most free throws made in a single season...Was 55-58 from the line in the final 12 games of the season and at one point made 43 consecutive free throws...Was 12-12 from the line in two games, tied for the third best percentage in a game in school history...Ended her career ranking in the Weber State career top ten in ten categories...Finished ninth in school history in career scoring with 1,428 career points...Was also tied for eighth in games played and tenth in rebounding at 669...Made 371 career free throws to rank in a tie for the fifth most ever...Also ranks eighth in career free throws attempted, eighth in career three-pointers made, seventh in three-point field goals attempted, ninth in three-point percentage, eighth in career field goals attempted, and tenth in career scoring average. 

 

2006-07 (Junior)

Sara played an started all 31 games for the Wildcats, giving her starts in all 90 games of her career...Was named to the All-Big Sky Conference First Team for the second straight season...Finished second on the Wildcat team in scoring with 428 points for an average of 13.8 points per game, ninth best in the Big Sky...After three season she has 981 points and needs just 19 more to become the 15th Wildcat to ever score 1,000 career points...Scored in double figures in 24 of 31 games...Posted a career-high 26 points in WSU’s win at Utah State on November 21...Led the Wildcats with five double-doubles during the season and WSU was 4-1 in those five games...Has scored a point in all but one game of her career...Led the Wildcats and was fifth in the Big Sky in rebounding with 214 for an average of 6.9 per game...Had double figures in rebounding five times during the season, including a season-high 11 in the first game of the year against Northwest Nazarene...Had at least four rebounds in all but three games during the season...Finished fifth in the conference in free throw percentage at 83.5 percent, the fifth best percentage in WSU single-season history...Has a career free throw percentage of 79.2 percent...Started the season by making 35 of her first 36 free throws...Shot 42 percent from the field and was 30-91 from three-point land for 33 percent...After three seasons she has 85 career three-pointers and needs just six more to move into the WSU all-time top ten...Has attempted 273 career three-pointers, the tenth most in school history...Finished the year with 96 assists, the third most on the team, for an average of 3.1 per game...Had four or more assists 13 times...Was named Big Sky Conference Player of the Week on November 28, the first honor of her career.

Sara started and played in all 30 games during the season, the only player on WSU’s team that has started every game of her career...Was named the Weber State Team MVP for the season...Was one of just two Wildcats to start every game during the season...Led Weber State in scoring at 12.2 points per game, which ranked eighth in the Big Sky...She also led the ?Cats in rebounding at 5.8 per game, tenth best in the conference...Was named to the Big Sky All-Conference First Team...Scored in double-figures 16 times during the season...Had a career-high of 23 points in WSU’s first round win over Eastern Washington at the Big Sky Tournament...Was sixth in the Big Sky in assists at 3.3 per game and had a career-high of eight at Sacramento State...Pulled down a career-high 13 rebounds against Air Force in her only double-double game of her career.

 

2004-05 (Freshman)

Started all 29 games as a freshman for the Wildcats, the first freshman to start every game since Julie Gjertsen during the 2001-02 season...Averaged 6.5 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game during the season...Shot 41 percent from the field and 36 percent from three-point land, the second best on the WSU team...Ranked fifth in the Big Sky in three-point shooting in conference games at 38.3 percent...Led all freshmen in three-point percentage...Scored in double-figures in seven games during the year...Scored a season-high 18 points, and was perfect from the field (6-6 from the field, including 4-4 from three-point land) and was 2-2 from the free thrown line in WSU’s loss at Montana on March 5.

 

Billings Senior High School

Averaged 16.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game as a senior at Billings Senior High School...Also shot 42 percent from the field...Was a three-time Montana All-State performer in basketball, softball, and volleyball...Was named to the First Team All-State in all three sports...Was an Academic All-State selection.
