Jared returns for his senior season at linebacker for the Wildcats. He played his first year at Weber State in 2015 after transferring to WSU from the University of Nebraska.

2015 (Junior)
Played in 10 games at linebacker for the Wildcats after transferring to Weber State from Nebraska in the summer of 2015...Was fifth on the WSU team in tackles with 47 on the season with 22 solo tackles and 25 assisted tackles...Had a career-high 10 tackles at North Dakota State...Also had 6.5 tackles for loss for 46 yards...Had one sack, a 10-yard loss at Northern Arizona...Also had a forced fumble at NAU and had one pass breakup on the year.

University of Nebraska
Spent two seasons at the University of Nebraska...Sat out the 2012 season as a red shirt...Played in four games and started two games for the Cornhuskers during the 2013 season...Had 12 total tackles with two tackles for loss and one sack...Had a season-high eight tackles, with two tackles for loss, against Illinois in his first career start...Left Nebraska after the 2013 season and did not play football in 2014.

Bingham High School
Was ranked among the nation’s top 50 linebackers coming out of Bingham High School...Was regarded as one of the top five prospects in Utah by Rivals.com out of high school and 247 Sports ranked him among the nation’s top 250 overall prospects...Was highly recruited out of Bingham and had offers from Washington, Oregon, UCLA, Utah, Colorado, Oregon State and BYU, among others...Helped lead the Bingham Miners to a pair of Utah 5A state championships...Recorded 180 career tackles, including 87 tackles as a senior in 2011...Also had two sacks, three interceptions, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery playing for head coach Dave Pack...Earned First Team All-State honors by the Salt Lake Tribune and Desert News...Played in the Semper Fi Marines All-America Bowl following his senior season...Helped lead the Miners to a state title and a perfect 13-0 record as a junior where he again earned First Team All-State honors.
