Emmett missed all of the 2016 season with a knee injury. He was a two-time All-Big Sky Conference selection and earned Second Team All-Big Sky honors in 2015. In his two years at Weber State, he earned All-Conference honors both years. He played in 18 career games and had 151 tackles and 17.5 tackles for loss. He also had 4.5 career sacks.

2016 
Sat out the season as a red shirt after suffering a knee injury prior to the season. 

2015 (Sophomore)
Earned Big Sky All-Conference Second Team honors as a linebacker in helping Weber State lead the Big Sky in total defense...Started in 10 games for the Wildcats and led Weber State in tackles with 72, an average of 7.2 per game...Had 10 tackles each against Southern Utah and North Dakota and had nine at Montana and Northern Arizona...Also led WSU with two forced fumbles on the year and had two sacks... Was named Big Sky Conference Player of the Week for his performance in WSU’s win at North Dakota on Oct. 17...Had 10 tackles, a sack, an interception a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in the win over UND...Had 7.5 tackles for loss on the year.

2014 (Freshman)
Earned Big Sky All-Conference honorable mention honors as a true freshman with the Wildcats...Was also named to the Jerry Rice Watch List as one of the top freshmen in the country...Started the first eight games of the season before missing the final four games with an injury...Led the Wildcats and was sixth in the Big Sky in tackles with an average of 9.9 per game...Recorded 79 tackles in the eight games with 46 solo tackles...Had double figures in tackles in four of his eight games with 16 tackles coming at Southern Utah and 15 against Cal Poly...Also recorded 10 tackles for loss, 17th best in the Big Sky....Had 2.5 sacks for a loss of 15 yards, all coming at Southern Utah...Also recorded two quarterback hurries...Earned Big Sky Academic All-Conference honors in Criminal Justice.

Timpview High School
Played for coach Cary Whittingham at Timpview...Helped lead Timpview to back-to-back state championships...Earned Second Team All-State honors from the Deseret News and was named to the All-Salt Lake Tribune Team...Also earned All-Region honors...Recorded 94 tackles with one sack and three interceptions as a senior...Had 200 tackles and five interceptions in his career.
