Jacob finished his six-year career at Weber State in 2024. He earned All-Big Sky honors as a seniors. 

He played in 36 games over his Wildcat career and was a part of two teams that won Big Sky Championships and three trips to the FCS Playoffs. 

He finished his career with 117 receptions for 1,778 yards and 18 touchdowns. He ended his career with the 20th most career receiving yards and the 25th most career receptions. 

2024 (Senior)
Started all 12 games for the Wildcats as one of seven seniors on the team…Finished the year sixth in the Big Sky in receiving at 70.8 yards per game…Was fourth in the conference and 17th in the nation in receiving touchdowns with 10 and was also eighth in the Big Sky in receptions per game…Totaled 56 receptions for 850 yards and 10 touchdowns…Had at least one catch in every game and had at least three catches in 10 of the 12 games…Had more than 100 receiving yards in three games with a career-high 152 yards on five catches in WSU’s win at nationally-ranked Montana…Also had two touchdowns in the win at Montana, including a 71-yard reception…Had eight catches for 119 yards and a touchdown in the shutout win at Northwestern State…Also had nine catches for 119 yards and three touchdowns at Sacramento State.

2023 (Junior)
Played in 10 games for the Wildcats, helping WSU to another winning season…Was second on the team in receiving with 26 receptions for 382 yards and a team-best five touchdown receptions…Had 91 yards and three touchdowns in Weber State’s season-ending win at Cal Poly…Also had touchdowns in wins over Idaho State and Idaho…Had 82 receiving yards in wins over Northern Iowa and Idaho…Had a 77-yard reception in the win at Northern Iowa. 

2022 (Sophomore)
Saw action in 12 games for the Wildcats, helping WSU to a 10-win season and a trip to the second round of the FCS Playoffs…Was second on the Wildcat team in receiving with 35 receptions for 546 yards and three touchdowns…Had two or more receptions in 10 games…Had a season-high seven catches for 116 yards and a touchdown in WSU’s win over Utah Tech…Also had six receptions against UC Davis…Had 87 receiving yards against Utah State and 81 against Portland State.

2021 (R-Freshman)

Saw action in two games during the season.

2021 Spring
Was a part of the Wildcat team that won its fourth straight Big Sky title and advanced to the FCS Playoffs. 

2019
Sat out the season as a red shirt. 

Jesse Bethel High School
Played multiple positions at Bethel High School, including quarterback, defensive back and kick returner...Was named the 2018 Defensive Player of the Year and was named to the honor roll...Also played basketball and scored more than 1,000 career points.
