As a Sophomore in 2007 (Grossmont Junior College): Sat out the season as a red-shirt.

As a Freshman in 2006 (Alcorn State): Was 26-26 (.963) on PAT's and 9-14 (.643) on field goal attempts with a long of 43 and earned Second Team All-SWAC honors.

High School: Played linebacker and kicker at Point Loma HS where he led the CIF San Diego section in kickoff touchbacks with 35.
