Maxwell finished his fifth season Wildcat career in 2023 as a two-time All-American. He also twice earned first-team All-Big Sky honors. He played in 52 games in his Wildcat career and was part of two Big Sky Championship teams and three teams that advanced to the FCS Playoffs. 

He finished his career ranking second in WSU history in career pass breakups with 39. He also finished his career with nine interceptions, tied for the sixth most in Weber State history 

2023 (Senior)
Started all 11 games and earned All-America honors and first-team All-Big Sky honors for the Wildcats…Earned second-team All-America honors from Hero Sports…Also served as a team captain…Earned first-team All-Big Sky honors for the second-straight year…Finished second in the Big Sky in passes defended and had 10 pass breakups and two interceptions…Also had a forced fumble with two sacks and 2.5 tackles for loss.

2022 (Junior)
Played in all 13 games at cornerback, helping WSU to a 10-win season and a trip to the second round of the FCS Playoffs…Was named an All-American by four different outlets…Earned first-team honors from the Associated Press and Bluebloods…Led the Big Sky with 16 passes defended and was sixth in the nation with five interceptions during the season…He returned those five interceptions a total of 43 yards…Had two interceptions in the season-opening win over Western Oregon…Also had interceptions against Utah State, Utah Tech and Eastern Washington…Had 11 pass breakups, tied for the third-most in a season in WSU history…Also had two blocked kicks and had 44 total tackles…Had six tackles with one tackle for loss in the win at UC Davis…Also had six tackles in the win over Idaho State.

2021 (Sophomore)
Saw action in nine games during the season…Recorded 11 total tackles on the year with 10 solo tackles…Also had six pass breakups. 

Spring 2021
Played in five games during the season, helping Weber State to a fourth-straight Big Sky title…Had 19 total tackles with 14 solo tackles…Also had two tackles for loss.

2019 (Freshman)
Saw action in 14 games as a true freshman during Weber State’s historic season, helping WSU win a third-straight Big Sky title and advance to the FCS Semifinals…Totaled 45 tackles with 36 solo tackles and nine assisted tackles...Recorded two interceptions on the season, coming at Nevada and against Montana in the FCS Playoffs...Also had six pass breakups, which was second on the team and had three in the playoffs against Montana...Had at least one tackle in every game and had season-highs of six tackles at San Diego State and Idaho...Had two tackles for loss, coming against Southern Utah and Sacramento State.
 
Moreau Catholic High School
Graduated from Moreau Catholic in 2019...Had four interceptions on the season and played cornerback and wide receiver at Moreau...Earned First-Team All-League honors in 2017 and 2018 and All-Metro Honorable Mention as a senior...Also played three years of basketball and was a first-team All-League player and named the league MVP.
