Bio
Nick finished his four-year career in 2011 and earned First Team All-Big Sky honors in each of the final two seasons. Nick played in 46 career games with the Wildcats, missing only two games in his career. Finished his career with 287 career tackles, ranking ninth in school history. He ranks second in WSU history in career unassisted tackles with 167. He also had three career forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and two interceptions.
2011 (Senior)
Started all 11 games for the Wildcats during the season and was one of three players to earn First Team All-Big Sky honors, earning first team honors for the second-straight season...Finished the season with 101 total tackles, which was the second most on the team and sixth most in the Big Sky...Had 50 unassisted tackles and 51 assisted tackles...Recorded double digits in tackles in five games during the season and WSU was 4-1 in those five games...Had a season-high 14 tackles, with 12 unassisted, in WSU’s season-ending win at Portland State on Nov. 19...In that game he also blocked a kick and recovered a fumble to help preserve the win for the Wildcats...On the season he finished with 6.5 tackles for loss, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, one blocked kick and five pass breakups.
2010 (Junior)
Nick started all 11 games for the Wildcats during the season...Earned First Team All-Big Sky honors as the outside linebacker position...Finished seventh in the Big Sky in total tackles with 99 on the season...Recorded 69 unassisted tackles on the season, which ranks as the fourth most in WSU single-season history...Also had 30 assisted tackles on the year...Had a career-high 14 total tackles in WSU’s with over Portland State on October 23...Also recorded 13 tackles at Northern Arizona and 12 at Idaho State, both wins for Weber State...Was 17th in the league in tackles for loss with 8.5 for a loss of 30 yards...Had an interception for 29 yards in Weber State’s win over Montana October 30, the final home game of the season...He also recorded a pass breakup in that game, one of three on the season...Had one sack on the year, a 13-yard loss at Idaho State.

Earned Honorable Mention All-Big Sky Conference honors with 58 Total Tackles (33 Unassisted)...Had a huge game in WSU’s 31-13 road win at Eastern Washington with a career high 13 Total Tackles and a career-high nine unassisted stops...Had four Tackles For Loss accounting for a minus 15 yards...Had a Forced Fumble, and recovered the fumble, at home vs. Cal Poly...Named to the 2009 Big Sky Conference Football All-Academic Team in Business Administration.
2008 (Freshman)
Played in 12 of the 14 games for the Wildcats during their Big Sky Conference Co-Championship season...Had 29 tackles, 15 unassisted, many of them coming on Special Teams play where he was an outstanding player on the kickoff and punt cover teams...Had a season-high six total tackles in WSU’s 44-7 win at home vs. Dixie State...Had a forced fumble in the season opener at home vs. Montana-Western.
East High School
A Tremendous all-around athlete, he played quarterback, receiver and defensive back at East High...Passed for over 1,000 yards and rushed for over 600 yards his senior season...Threw five TD passes and rushed for nine more...He also had just over 300 yards receiving and caught three touchdown passes under Coach Aaron Whitehead...Had 55 tackles and two interceptions as a defensive back...Was the Region Five Offensive MVP...Earned Second team All-State honors as a defensive back.
