Sherwin finished his three-year Wildcat career in 2021. He played in 29 games during his three seasons at Weber State and twice earned All-Big Sky honors. He totaled 73 total tackles with 4.5 tackles for loss and two sacks. He also had three pass breakups and one forced fumble. 

2021 (Senior)
Earned honorable mention All-Big Sky honors, his second-straight all-conference selection…Started in all 11 games for the Wildcats at linebacker…Totaled 42 tackles on the year with three tackles for loss…Had a season-high seven tackles against No. 2 James Madison on Sept. 18…Also had five tackles against UC Davis and Cal Poly…Also had three quarterback hurries and one pass breakup.

Spring 2021
Played in all six games during the spring season, helping Weber State to a fourth straight Big Sky Championship…Earned second-team All-Big Sky honors during the season...Finished 10th in the Big Sky in sacks with two on the season...Had two sacks for a loss of 16 yards in WSU’s season opening win at Idaho State...Finished the season with 26 tackles, fourth on the WSU team, including 23 solo tackles...Had six tackles against Northern Arizona and Southern Illinois...Also recorded 3.5 tackles for loss and had five quarterback hurries, one forced fumble and one pass breakup.

2019 (Junior)

Played in 12 games during Weber State’s historic season, helping WSU win a third-straight Big Sky title and advance to the FCS Semifinals…Totaled five tackles on the year, including four solo tackles...Had two tackles in WSU’s win at Sacramento State...Also had one pass breakup against Idaho State.
 
Snow College
Played two seasons at Snow and earned All-Conference honors in 2018 at Snow as a sophomore...Was third on the team in tackles with 45, including 29 solo tackles...Also had two tackles for loss and one sack...Had 26 tackles with 21 solo tackles as a freshman 2017.

Graduated from Kearns High School in 2015 and earned All-Conference honors.
