2009 UTEP Thanksgiving Classic All-Tournament Team


As a Sophomore in 2009-10
• Played in all 29 games and started twice, averaging 13.3 minutes per game.
• Averaged 3.1 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game.
• Hit 35 of 95 shots from the floor (.368) overall, 17 of 48 (.354) from three-point range.
• Recorded three double-figure scoring games.
• Scored 27 points in a pair of games at the UTEP Thanksgiving Classic, earning All-Tournament honors.
• Posted a career-high 14 points on 5 of 8 shooting (4-5 3FG) against UTEP on Nov. 27.
• Came back with 13 points against Youngstown State, hitting 5 of 9 shots (3-5 3FG) on Nov. 28.
• Scored 10 points and had a career-high seven rebounds at Western Oregon on Dec. 14.

As a Freshman in 2008-09
• Played in 28 of 29 games for the Wildcats.
• Started the first 11 and 17 of the first 18 games of the season.
• Averaged 2.4 points per game and 0.9 rebounds.
• Posted 16 assists, six steals and one block.
• Hit 29 of 80 shots from the floor (36.3%) and made 10 of 38 (26.3%) from behind-the-arc.
• Did not attempt a free throw all season.
• Set a career-high with 10 points in back-to-back games (85-80 win vs. Elon on Nov. 29 and 78-75 loss to Wyoming on Dec. 4.

During her Prep Career
• Graduated from Arapahoe High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, but also played for Highlands Ranch High School from 2003-2006.
• Lettered in basketball four times, three times with Highlands Ranch and once with Arapahoe.
• Helped Highlands Ranch to the 2006 State Basketball Championship.
• Was an All-State Honorable Mention in both 2006 and 2007.
• Earned First Team All-Conference honors in 2007.
• Was an Academic All-State selection in 2007.

Personal
• Birthday is June 19.
• Is the daughter of Eric and Loree Thorderson.
• Is the second of four children.
• Her older sister, Ali, is a senior on the Wildcat basketball team.
• Her younger siblings are: Chloe (16) and Lexy (14).
• Attended Utah State University in 2007-08 and entered WSU as a sophomore, academically.
• Majoring in Special Education at WSU.
