2007-08 (Senior)

Ahkiah played in all 28 games during her senior season with the Wildcats, one of five players to play every game...She also started 16 games...Scored in double figures ten times during the season and scored 20 or more points on two occasions...Was named Big Sky Co-Player of the Week December 17 after scoring a career-high 25 points and leading the Wildcats to a win over BYU December 12, the first win over the Cougars in 13 years...Finished the season averaging 8.4 points per game, the second best on the WSU team...Also had the second most assists with 75 for an average of 2.7 per game...Posted a career-high of seven assists in a game against Chattanooga on December 29...Finished tenth in the Big Sky in steals at 1.2 per game...Finished the season shooting 36 percent from the field and 69 percent from the free throw line...Ended her two year career at Weber State playing in 59 games and a career average of 5.6 points per game.

 

2006-07 (Junior)

Ahkiah saw action in all 31 games for the Wildcats during her junior season...Averaged 3.1 points, 1.0 rebounds, and 0.8 assists per game...Totaled 95 points on the season and scored in 23 of 31 games...Posted a career-high 12 points in WSU’s win over Portland State on February 10 in Ogden...Averaged 4.2 points per game in her last eight games...Shot 44.9 percent from the field, the fourth best percentage on the Wildcat team...Totaled 26 assists during the year and had two assists in a game six times...Was 5-14 from three-point land for 35.7 percent shooting, the third best percentage on the team...Was 20-30 from the free throw line and had six steals on the year.

 

Santa Ana Junior College

Ahkiah played two seasons at Santa Ana Junior College...She was a two-time Orange Empire All-Conference First Team selection...She started all 53 games of her career at Santa Ana and was named Team MVP both seasons...As a sophomore last season she led the conference in scoring at 19.2 points per game and finished fourth in steals at 2.7 a game...She also shot 47 percent from the field, including 33 percent from the three-point line and averaged 5.9 rebounds per game...She posted a career-high 41 points in a win over Golden West College last season, a new Santa Ana school record...She also had eight steals and seven rebounds in that game...As a sophomore she led the team in points, assists, steals, free throw percentage, field goal percentage, and 3-point field goal percentage and was second in rebounding...As a freshman she led the Dons in scoring at 14.8 points per game and steals at 3.3 per game and was second in rebounding and assists...She was named Santa Ana’s Most Valuable Player and the Team Defensive Player of the Year.

 

High school

Attended Ocean View High School for her last three seasons and West Covina High School as a freshman...She lettered in basketball all four years and also earned one letter in track...She was named All-League all four years and averaged 14.6 points per game during her three year career at Ocean View High.
