Kurt Ward graduated from Firth High School in Idaho in 2008. He competed at Weber State from 2011 to 2013 as a mid-distance specialist. While competing as a student-athlete, Ward worked towards his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, and further received his Doctorate in Kinesiology from Auburn University in 2017. He is married to Taylor Ward who was also a member of the Weber State Track team and now a National Class Marathoner.Â
Kurt has been working with the Weber State distance groups since the fall of 2017.
