Nyomy Obcemea is in her first year as the Associate Athletic Director for Development for Weber State Athletics. She was hired in July 2025 and assists in development and fundraising involving Wildcat Athletics. 

Obcemea is a former member of the Weber State women’s golf team and also spent several years as a golf professional in Ogden. 

Prior to coming to Weber State, she was the Assistant Golf Professional at Ogden Golf & Country Club from 2016 to 2025. She also competed in the PGA of America’s Professional Golf Management Program, blending business acumen with a lifelong passion for athletics. 

During her tenure at the Ogden Country Club, she led transformative fundraising efforts, including growing the Youth Golf Program and securing support for a range of club initiatives. She made history as the first woman PGA Golf Professional at the Ogden Country Club and was named the 2024 Utah Assistant Golf Professional of the Year. 

She is also a co-founder of the Tee Box, a golf training facility. 

She also served as the head girls' golf coach at Northridge and West Field High Schools, where she played a pivotal role in expanding opportunities for young female athletes. 

Obecmea was a member of the Weber State women’s golf team from 2010-15. She graduated from Weber State University in 2016 with a degree in Technical Sales.
