Will Pridemore serves as the Associate Athletics Director for Student-Athlete Support Services at Weber State. In his role, he serves as Senior Compliance Administrator, running the day-to-day operations of that department, and also oversees Weber State's athletics academic support services. He also serves as the sport administrator the soccer program.
Will began his career at Weber State in 2009 as a Compliance Coordinator. He became Director of Compliance is 2012, Assistant Athletics Director for Student-Athlete Support Services in March 2019, and was promoted to his current position in August 2019. His duties include monitoring the activities of all of Weber State's student-athletes, coaches, athletics department staff members, and boosters to ensure compliance with NCAA, Big Sky Conference, and institutional rules, working with prospective student-athletes to ensure that they are eligible for competition once enrolled at Weber State, and managing the Academic Performance Program, which includes the Academic Progress Rate (APR). Will has authored three NCAA legislative proposals, all of which the NCAA membership adopted.
A native of Prospect, Kentucky, Will earned a Juris Doctor from the Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, WI in 2009. While at Marquette, he earned the National Sports Law Institute's Certificate in Sports Law and served as a compliance intern at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Northern Illinois University, and the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Will was also admitted to the Wisconsin Bar in May 2009. Prior to attending Marquette, Will graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.
In his free time, Will enjoys yelling at the television while watching the Vanderbilt Commodores' football, basketball, and baseball teams, rooting for the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals, perfecting his handstand in a yoga class, pickleball, and exploring hiking trails along the Wasatch front.
