Jonas Ehrlin was hired as the head coach of the Weber State women's tennis program in 2006.

 

In his first season, Ehrlin's squad went 7-14 and earned a berth in the Big Sky Conference tournament.

 

Ehrlin is a former Weber State standout tennis player. He has the most career wins in Wildcat history with a 125-61 career record. His Wildcat teams won four consecutive Big Sky titles and he won two individual Big Sky singles titles and one doubles title.

 

Ehrlin was named the Weber State Athlete of the Year award in 1987 and was inducted into the WSU Hall of Fame in 2001.

 

Ehrlin spent 12 years as the Director of Tennis at Ventana Canyon Golf and Racquet Club in Tucson, Arizona before returning to Ogden to become the interim head coach of the Wildcat men's tennis team in 2004. Since that time, Ehrlin has been a teaching pro at the Ogden Athletic Club.
