GREELEY, Colo. - Senior forward Caitlin Anderson scored 12 points for the Weber State women's basketball team on Saturday afternoon, reaching another career milestone as she moved past Chelsey Warburton in the Wildcats' career scoring lists.
Anderson now has 1,117 career points and is 14th on Weber State's all-time career chart, needing just six more points to pass WSU head coach Carla Taylor for 13th on the list.
The Reno, Nev.-native's heroics weren't enough to lift the Wildcats to a victory though, as Weber State fell 67-49 to Northern Colorado at Butler-Hancock Pavilion.
Junior center Mikell Woodfield led Weber State with 13 points and nine rebounds, while sophomore guard Megan Patterson had three 3-pointers and finished with nine points. Sophomore forward Amanda Hughes also added nine points for the Wildcats.
Weber State led early 3-2, but the Bears regained the lead quickly and never relinquished it, going on to take as much as a 24-point lead before settling for the final score.
Weber State, which dropped to 5-13 overall and 1-5 in Big Sky play, will return to action on Thursday against the University of Montana in Missoula, Mont.
