'Cats fall to Griz

Shooting just 29 percent from the field in the second half, the Weber State University women's basketball team fell to Montana 67-59 in Big Sky Conference action at Dahlberg Arena.
Woodfield was 8-of-13 from the field and converted four free throws en route to her first career 20 point game. Her previous career-high, which she tied on Saturday at Northern Colorado, was 13.
Patterson, the Big Sky's top 3-point shooter, drained four shots from behind the arc, and had a career-high six rebounds - leading Weber State in that category.
Sophomore forward Amanda Hughes added six points and seven rebounds, while Missoula area-native freshman forward Jordan Pfau had a career-high six points and a career-high five rebounds in her first trip as a Wildcat to Dahlberg.
Weber State raced out the gates early, staking claim to a 24-15 lead in the first half. The Grizzlies battled back to take a 33-32 lead at halftime. The Wildcats briefly regained the lead early in the second half, but Montana gradually pulled away, leading by as much as 15 in the second half before a late WSU rally.
The Wildcats (5-14, 1-6 Big Sky) will remain on the road and face Montana State on Saturday night at Worthington Arena in Bozeman, Mont. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
