BOISE, Idaho - Junior outside hitter Bethany Wray returned from injury to lead the Weber State University women's volleyball team on Monday night, but the Wildcats came up short against the Broncos.

Led by Breann Nesselhuf and Elizabeth Griffin with 10 kills each, Boise State captured a straight set victory over Weber State, winning 25-17, 25-22, 25-12 at Bronco Gym.

Wray, who missed last Friday's match at Idaho State due to a mild concussion, had nine kills, while junior middle blocker Dama Cox added eight kills and a pair of service aces.

Freshman Mackenzie Clark had four blocks and four kills, and junior setter Caitlin Penrod had 23 assists, five digs and two blocks.

The first set featured four lead changes and eight ties before the Broncos pulled away for the set victory.

The second set was again close with six ties and two lead changes.

Weber State (0-3 Big Sky, 0-15 overall) will return to Big Sky Conference action on Saturday night, hosting Sacramento State at 7 p.m. at Swenson Gym.
