Wildcat soccer falls 1-0 to Montana

MISSOULA, Mont. - The Weber State University women's soccer team dropped its second match of Big Sky Conference action on Sunday afternoon, falling 1-0 to the University of Montana at South Campus Stadium.
Weber State fell to 1-1-0 in Big Sky action, while Montana improved to 1-0-1.
The Grizzlies scored the match-winner in the 17th minute when Lauren Costa headed in a corner kick from Mary Makris just inside the far post.
Montana finished with a 6-4 advantage in shots on goal across the 90 minute match.
Junior goalkeeper Ryann Waldman made five saves for the Wildcats. Freshman forward Stacy Bair recorded two shots on goal to lead Weber State in that category.
The Wildcats will return to action in Big Sky Conference play on Friday afternoon when they host Northern Arizona at 3 p.m. at Wildcat Soccer Field, followed by in-state rival Southern Utah on Sunday at Noon.
