  Mike Humiston was an outstanding three-year letterman in football at Weber State. A native of Anderson, California, Humiston went on to claim First Team All-America honors following the 1980 season and was named to the All-Big Sky Conference First Team as a linebacker as well as the league's Defensive Player of the Year.

   Weber State's coaches named the 6-foot-3, 225-pound Humiston the most outstanding defensive player in 1980. He capped his career seventh on the school's all-time unassisted tackles chart (120), and sixth in career total tackles (120). More

  During his Wildcat career, Humiston was named All-Big Sky Second Team in 1979.

  Humiston signed with the Buffalo Bills of the NFL, and was named the team's Most Valuable Rookie in 1981. Humiston went on to play for the Baltimore Colts (1982-83) and Indianapolis Colts (1984), as well as the San Diego Chargers (1987).

    Humiston is currently the head baseball coach at Waynesburg University in Ohio.
