   Bob Subic joined the Weber Junior College in 1953, recruited by Coach Milt Mecham to play football. Subic ended up playing football, baseball and basketball for the Wildcats and earned letters in all three sports.

    The 6-foot-2, 185-pound Subic hailed from Superior, Wyoming. Subic was named All-Conference in all three sports as well, and was named to the NJCAA All-America Basketball Team in 1995, the first player to be named to the squad without participating in the NJCAA National Tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas.

   Subic averaged 19 points per game as a freshman, then scored 20 points per game in his sophomore season. He was recognized as the Standard-Examiner's most outstanding athlete in 1955.

  Subic was a standout end for the football squad.
