Lee White was a standout member of the Weber State football program for three seasons, and finished his career as the school's all-time leading rusher.
White, originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, rushed for 3,062 yards on three carries in 1965-1967, scoring 34 touchdowns for the Wildcats. He was Weber State's single season rushing leader with 1,378 yards on 284 attempts in 1967.
White, nicknamed “The Horse,” finished his career as the Big Sky Conference's fourth leading rusher, earning All-Big Sky Conference honors in 1966 and 1967. He held the single-game rushing mark for the Wildcats, running for 276 on 44 carries in 1967 against Idaho.
White was a first-team College All-American following the 1967 season. He is a member of the Big Sky Conference Silver Anniversary Team, named in 1988.
