Weber State hosts first Big Sky games of the season

Weber State was able to sink not one but THREE goals last week in one game against UC Santa Barbara. Morgan Quarnberg was able to score two goals against the Gauchos. While Kinsley Napoli scored WSU's third goal.

WILDCATS EARN PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Morgan Quarnberg is the reigning Big Sky Player of the Week. Quarnberg lifted Weber State to a 3-2 home victory over UC Santa Barbara, the No. 3-ranked team in the west region, on Friday by scoring a pair of goals including the game winner in the 84th minute.

Last week, Nikki Pittman earned Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week. Pittman came up with five saves in a 1-0 shutout of Utah Valley on the road Tuesday recording the first win of the year. She followed that performance up with a career-best 13 saves, three coming in the overtime periods, of a 1-1 draw at UC Davis. She concluded the week with four saves in a scoreless draw against UTEP.
