Weber State announces three-game football series with Dixie State

Weber State football has announced a three-game football series with Dixie State for the 2020, 2021 and 2022 seasons.
The two teams will meet twice in Ogden and once in St. George in the series.
Dixie State announced last week its plans to move to Division I and will compete as an FCS independent, beginning in 2020.
The first game of the series will be played on Oct. 10, 2020, at Stewart Stadium in Ogden. The Wildcats will return a game in St. George in 2021, and will host the Trailblazers again in Ogden in 2022. Exact dates of those games will be announced later.
The two teams have met just once before. Weber State defeated Dixie State 44-7 in September 2008 in Ogden.
This also completes the 2020 schedule for Weber State. The Wildcats will also face Wyoming and Northern Iowa in non-conference games in 2020.
