Wildcats to play Bowling Green in first round of NCAA Tournament

The Wildcats are headed to round one of the NCAA tournament! The NCAA selection show was conducted on Sunday, April 4th to lay out the bracket for the 48 teams who will be competing in the 2020-21 national championship.
The Wildcats were picked to match up against Bowling Green (22-1) on April 14th at 7:00 pm ET in Omaha, Nebraska. The Falcons finished 22-1 on the season, and received an automatic bid after earning the MAC conference title.
30 of the 48 teams were awarded automatic qualification via a conference championship. The remaining 18 participants were selected as an at-large. Weber State won the Big Sky Conference Championship on Friday, April 2nd against the Northern Colorado Bears. The Wildcats downed the Bears 3-1 to earn the qualifying bid.
The first round of the NCAA tournament is April 14th, and the second round will be April 15th. Regional semifinals are Sunday, April 18th, and the regional finals on April 19th. The national semifinals are Thursday, April 22nd, and the national championship on April 24th. The tournament will be held at the Chi Health Center Arena in Omaha, Nebraska.
