77 Wildcats earn fall 2021 Big Sky Academic All-Conference honors

Weber State tied for the most of any school in the Big Sky. WSU had 28 student-athletes in football, 22 from soccer, and nine each from men's cross country, women's cross country and volleyball.
OGDEN - A total of 77 Weber State student-athletes have earned Big Sky Academic honors. The Big Sky Conference has announced the 2021 Fall Academic All-Conference teams for football, volleyball, soccer, and men's and women's cross country.

Of the 77 student-athletes, 52 Wildcats have a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.5 or higher and six have a perfect 4.0.Â
Weber State tied for the most of any school in the conference with 77 student-athletes on the list. WSUÂ football had 28 student-athletes earn honors. The Wildcat women's soccer team had 22 players on the list, the most of any soccer team in the conference.Â
WSU volleyball, men's cross country and women's cross country, each had nine players earn academic honors.Â
To be eligible, a student-athlete must have met and/or exceeded three requirements: 1) Participation in at least half of the team's competitions; 2) Achieved a 3.2 cumulative grade point average at the conclusion of the most recently completed term; 3) Completed at least one academic term at his/her school.
As a conference, the Big Sky had 727 student-athletes recognized for the fall season, the second-most in league history.Â
