Weber State Athletics launches Wildcat NIL Exchange

OGDEN - Weber State University Athletics, in partnership with INFLCR, has officially launched the Wildcat NIL Exchange - a brand new comprehensive Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) platform that will provide the opportunity for Weber State student-athletes and interested parties to connect directly for NIL partnerships, endorsements, and opportunities.
Free to both student-athletes and commercial enterprises, the Wildcat Exchange will provide a customized portal for communicating with student-athletes and fulfilling NIL transactions.
"We are thrilled to launch the Wildcat Athletics NIL Local Exchange, in collaboration with INFLCR," said Weber State Director of Athletics Tim Crompton. "Our goal is not only to take our athletic achievements to new heights but also to establish a path for our student-athletes where personal growth and entrepreneurial development drive their future. Special thanks to Will Pridemore and our Athletics Compliance staff for helping this get organized. We believe we can establish an environment where athletics and individual brand empowerment can merge seamlessly, and this is a step in that direction."
NIL opportunities and activities may include autographs, personal appearances, social media product promotions, running camps and clinics, and much more. After a quick online registration through the exchange's online portal, interested businesses, collectives, and individuals will be granted access to a searchable database for all Weber State student-athletes. They will then be able to reach out directly to any athlete or athletes of their choosing to begin NIL opportunity discussions.
Within the INFLCR app, all WSU student-athletes have access to pursue possible business deals including public appearances, autograph signings, social media promotion and endorsement, private lessons, and athletic camps.
The Wildcat NIL Exchange is a free platform available to all Weber State student-athletes. In addition to having the ability to work directly with businesses through the exchange, all athletes will also have access to INFLCR's content delivery system. The system allows them to easily access photos, videos, and other media content that bolsters their online presence. The system also provides valuable analytical data to help the student-athletes measure their audience engagement.
