Steven Verplancken selected for Damian Lillard’s Formula Zero camp

Verplancken is one of 20 college players selected for the camp, hosted by the Wildcat legend.
Weber State senior Steven Verplancken has been selected to participate in a summer camp run by a Wildcat legend.
Verplancken has been invited to participate in the second Damian Lillard Formula Zero camp, hosted by Lillard, a Wildcat legend, Hall of Famer, and NBA superstar.
Verplancken is one of just 20 college players from across the country invited to the camp, which will be held August 16-19 in Phoenix.
Wildcat junior Dillon Jones participated in the inaugural camp last season. The camp includes on-court skills and off-court character development.
Verplancken earned All-Big Sky honors last season, his first as a Wildcat, and helped the Wildcats to an 18-win season and a trip to the semifinals of the Big Sky Tournament. He earned third-team All-Big Sky honors after starting all 33 games and was second on the team and 15th in the Big Sky in scoring at 13.2 points per game. He scored in double figures 27 times and was also eighth in the conference in 3-pointers per game at 2.0. He knocked down 65 3-pointers on the season, the most on the Wildcat squad.
