Wildcats fall to Utes

SALT LAKE CITY - The Weber State women's basketball team dropped a score of 86-46 to the Utah Utes this Thursday evening at the Jon M. Huntsman Center.
Weber State opened the game with balanced scoring. However, Utah used a 10-0 scoring run to jump out to lead after the first quarter and then further increased that lead 14-47 at halftime.
Weber State relied on points from Rita Satini, Rose Bubakar, and Lanae Billy in both the third and fourth quarters. However, the Utes continued to pile it on taking an 32-69 lead to end the third. As the fourth quarter progressed, the Wildcats were unable to recover from the deficit and Utah rolled on to a 86-46 win.

- Two Wildcats were in double digits. Satini and Bubakar both with 10 points.
- Taylor Smith played an all-around solid game, with four points, five rebounds and two assists
- Freshman Dakota Nap, helped lead the defense with two rebounds and two blocks.
