Wildcat Track and Field records dominate performances at BYU December Invite

Wildcat track and field traveled down to Provo, UT to compete at the BYU December Invite on December 10.

Two Wildcats competed at the meet and both made it on Weber State's All-Time list.

Angelyca Chapman won the 500m with a time of 1:13.83.

Eliza Smith is now 9th on the all-time list for 60m hurdles with a time of 8.80 seconds. Smith recorded a fourth place finish.

"The BYU indoor meet went really great for us. It's always exciting to see personal bests and fast season openers in December," coach Tawnie Moore said. "I'm very excited for our upcoming season. Our sprinters, jumpers, and hurdlers are focused and ready to accomplish goals we've set for this year."

The 'Cats will be back in action at home for the Weber State Indoor Invitational on January 10 & 11.
