Weber State posted several all-time top 10 performances at BYU meet.
It was the final week of the regular season for the Weber State women's track and field team, and the Wildcats finished the last meet with several outstanding individual performances.
Weber State had multiple first-place finishes and several spots on the all-time top 10 list at the BYU Robison Invitational this week in Provo, the final meet before the Big Sky Championships.
On the track, Charlotte Wilkinson posted a career best time of 2:06.90 in the 800 meters. That time is the second best in Weber State school history and is just .02 off the school record. It is also the third-fastest in the Big Sky Conference this season. The time should also qualify for her for the NCAA First Round meet.
Hannah Bailey had a converted mile run time for a seasonal best in the 1500 meters, which could also qualify for the NCAA First Round meet.
In the field events, Alyssa Hansen Freestone won the title in the hammer throw and posted the second-best throw in WSU history. She had a career best throw of 188-11, to move to number two on the Weber State all-time list, less than a foot from the school record. The mark is also currently the second best in the Big Sky this season.
Freshman Lucy Harris set a freshman record and posted the fourth-best total in the heptathlon, as she finished second in the event with a total of 4,959 points. Abby Egbert was second in the heptathlon with a career best of 4,409 points.
Senior Abby Triplett won the title in the high jump with a mark of 5-07.25, which ties her seasonal best performance.
Chloe Glines posted the 10th best mark in school history in the javelin with a throw of 139-10.25.
In addition to the meet in Provo, Danielle Brow also competed at the Payton Jordan Invitational at Stanford. She posted a time of 10:31.58 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, which is currently the seventh-best in the Big Sky this season.
The Wildcats now prepare for the 2026 Big Sky Championships, which will be held May 13-16 in Portland.
