Kate Payne receives Academic All-District honors

Wildcat Kate Payne has been named to the 2024 Academic All-District Team on December 17.

This recognition is selected by College Sports Communicators and highlights the nation's top student-athletes who excel on the court and in the classroom.

Payne finished her career at Weber State ranked second in assists with 3,444 and ranked third in digs with 1,583 in the Weber State record book. She was on the 2024 Wildcat Invitational All-Tournament Team and received Big Sky First Team honors. Payne finished the season ranked third in the Big Sky in assists and ninth in digs.

She also helped lead the Wildcats to their fourth NIVC appearance.
