Wildcats top Highlanders in Riverside

Riverside, CA — The Wildcat women's tennis team won their match against the Highlanders of UC Riverside 4-1.
The Wildcats were able to clinch the doubles point courtesy of wins by the pairing of Ana Morett and Megan Davies who won their match in the No. 1 position 6-0 and the duo of Jess Hill and Sicely Ferreira who took the No. 3 match 6-2 to secure the doubles point.
The 'Cats were then able to dominate singles play securing another three team points as well as the overall victory over UC Riverside. Megan Davies took the No. 1 match 6-2, 6-3, Dylan Lolofie clinched the No. 3 slot 6-3, 7-6 clinching the match for the 'Cats. In addition, Sydney Schnell was able to take the victory in her singles match 7-6 (7-3), 7-5.
The team is right back in action tomorrow morning as they will take on UC San Diego down south in La Jolla, California before coming back home to take on Northern Arizona on Friday at the Ogden Athletic Club. UC San Diego comes into tomorrow's match sporting a 2-10 record so far this season.
